Support

Help with PingPulse on the web, iPhone and iPad. Can't find your answer? Email support@empoc.com and a person will reply.

Getting started

How do I sign in to the app?

Use the email and password from pingpulse.co, or Continue with Apple. Continuing with Apple creates a free account if you don't have one. If your account has two-factor authentication, the app asks for your code after your password.

I already have an account but Apple sign-in says my email is in use.

That email already has a PingPulse account with a password. Sign in with your email and password instead.

What can I monitor?

Websites (any http or https address, optionally checking for a word on the page), TCP ports such as a database or mail server, and heartbeats: scheduled jobs that ping PingPulse each time they run, so you hear when one doesn't.

Alerts

How do I get alerts on my iPhone or iPad?

Tap Turn On Alerts on the Monitors screen and allow notifications. You'll be alerted when a monitor goes down, when it's back up, and before an SSL certificate or domain expires. Down alerts are Time Sensitive, so they get through Focus.

I'm not getting alerts.

Check Settings > Notifications > PingPulse on your device. Alerts stop when you sign out of the app, and start again when you sign back in. Email, Slack, Discord, Teams and webhook alerts are set up on the website, under Alerts.

Your account

What's on each plan?

See Plans and pricing. The Free plan has 20 monitors checked every 3 minutes. Paid plans are bought on the website, month to month.

I forgot my password.

Email support@empoc.com from the address on your account and we'll help you back in.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open the account menu (top right of Monitors) and choose Delete Account. On the website, go to Settings. Any paid plan is cancelled first, and everything in the account is deleted. See our privacy policy.
